**Human Resources Paid Internship** **JOB SUMMARY:** We are looking for a HR Intern to provide support to in recruitment and special projects for our HR Team. The Village of St. Edward has three campuses that will involve a lot of interaction with applicants as well as new hires. The focus of this position will be assisting in aspects of the recruitment life cycle, scheduling interviews, assisting with new hire paperwork, filing and a lot more! This individual will need to be available at least 15-20 hours per week with estimated length of internship being 6 months. Hours between 8am-4pm Monday through Friday. Potential of part-time or full-time opportunity at the end of internship. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about a career in Human Resources and is highly organized, detail-oriented, and confident speaking in front of groups. They are comfortable managing filing systems and handling confidential information with professionalism and discretion. **Position Summary (not all inclusive):** **This position will provide support to the Human Resources Department, which includes recruitment, onboarding new hires, maintaining employee records, and special projects. Examples below:** **Management of Candidate Experience and Interviewing** - Coordinates the scheduling of phone and in person interviews. This includes the verbal and written communication between hiring managers and candidates to initiate the interview, confirm the interview, and manage all associated documents necessary such as resume, interview guides etc. - Conduct Employment verification and work with pre-employment testing vendor **New Hire & Orientation Support** - Manages the documentation necessary for weekly New Hire Orientation - Prepares materials for New Hire Orientation, and assists with conducting orientation when needed **Project Coordination:** - Assist with a variety of HR team related projects. **BASIC QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:** - High School Education - Currently enrolled in college degree program and actively working toward an Associate, Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in business management, communications, human resources or related field. - Graduating in Summer/Fall 2026 preferred - GPA of 2.8 or higher. - Experience with word processing and financial applications required, including Word and Excel - Must have reliable transportation. - Must pass a pre-employment physical - Possess the necessary dexterity to operate office equipment - Possess the ability to bend, stoop and reach at different angles. - Walks, stands and sits intermittently during the day. - Excellent customer service and detail-oriented Human Resources, Engagement, HR Intern
