**Overview:** We are seeking a Spanish speaking, detail-oriented, and versatile professional to join our team as a **Human Resource Generalist & Payroll Specialist**. This hybrid role combines HR generalist responsibilities with payroll processing duties, ensuring smooth HR operations and accurate, timely payroll execution. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and capable of handling confidential information with integrity. **Key Responsibilities:** **Human Resources Generalist Duties:** - Administer day-to-day HR operations including recruiting, onboarding, offboarding, benefits and employee relations. - Assisting managers with screening and interviewing potential candidates if needed - Writing job descriptions for newly created roles in English and Spanish - Maintain and update employee records in ADP systems. - Support performance management and employee development initiatives. - Assist in policy development and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies. - Coordinate benefits administration and respond to employee inquiries. - Facilitate training sessions and support organizational development efforts. - Evaluating and resolving staff complaints and conflicts **Payroll Specialist Duties:** - Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on time. - Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. - Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee payroll inquiries. - Collaborate with Finance and HR teams to ensure accurate reporting and reconciliation. - Manage timekeeping systems and ensure proper tracking of hours, PTO, and leave. **Qualifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field. - 2+ years of experience in HR and payroll functions. - Proficiency with computers & software - Strong understanding of employment laws and payroll regulations. - Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. - Bi-lingual: Spanish **Preferred Skills:** - Experience in a hybrid or remote work environment. - Familiarity with multi-state payroll processing. **Work Environment:** This is a hybrid role requiring both in-office presence and some travel. Flexibility and self-management are key to success in this position. Normal hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with some possible overtime and travel expected.
