Hub Manager

Takealot Fulfilment Solutions (TFS), a division of Takealot Online (RF) (Pty) Ltd, South Africa's leading online retailer, is looking for a highly talented Hub Manager to join our team in Limpopo. This position reports to the Primary Logistics: General Manager Purpose of the role: Responsible for the dispatch, receipt and management of parcels within Takealot. Its primary objectives therefore center on timeliness, efficiency and cost effectiveness. Your responsibilities will include: Identified, distributed or delivered, and properly stored in designated locations. Ensures efficient warehousing with timely movement of product. Extracts data and generates reports that assist in performance tracking and decision making. Oversee proper execution and accurate documentation of order filling, transporting and delivery/receiving. Trains and supervises employees to carry out the functions under their control. Implement health and safety standards. Must continually work to promote the orderliness and cleanliness of their work area and other company standards Identifies value-creation opportunities for the company in the movement and distribution of the product. Works closely with senior management and Human Resources to resolve issues and ensure quality service to our customers. Oversee maintenance, repairs, or replacements for machine Perform all other duties as assigned Qualification & Experience Degree or Diploma in logistics Management Matric and 8 - 10 Years of related work and knowledge Attributes Required : Strong analytical and problem solving skills Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills for a demanding and customer focused working environment Possess excellent personal organization and business administration skills in accordance with modern best practice methods Possess the ability to work productively, efficiently & effectively with initiative and drive under tight timescales and pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail and quality Possess the willingness to learn, improve and adapt Good team player, hard worker, willing to be flexible with a positive attitude Must be able to work as part of a multicultural team Good written and oral communication skills.
