HTO - Fueler-Washer

Fuel and wash the equipment as needed. Fuel equipment and check the fluid levels. The incumbent in this position is expected to model the following practices daily: 1. Participate in ongoing self-development. ### Essential Functions - Fuel vehicles as required - Wash and clean equipment - Deliver outstanding customer service - Fuel trucks as required - Wash trucks as needed - Ensure proper levels of fuel are maintained at all times - Comply with all safety, DOT and OSHA guidelines - Adhere to company rules and regulations - Shuttle vehicles when necessary - Ensure cleanliness of shop and surrounding areas - Perform other tasks as directed be Service Manager or Immediate Supervisor - Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of HOLT’s Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and Mission. - Works safely always and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards. - Performs other duties assigned. ### Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - General knowledge of trucking industry helpful. - Good communication skills - Customer service skills. ### Requirements **Education and Experience:** - High school diploma or equivalent required. **Supervisory Responsibilities:**None **Travel:** None **Physical Requirements:** - Employee is required to stand, walk, kneel, squat, crawl, bend and twist. - Employee may have to climb and/or lift up to and over 80 pounds frequently. - Visual requirements are constant. **Work Environment:** - Duties are performed throughout the inside and outside of the building(s). - Employee is exposed to dirt, dust, heat, cold, noise and vibration, fumes and odors, wetness and humidity and sometimes darkness. - Due to the nature of the environment, employee is exposed to potential mechanical, chemical, electrical and fire hazards on a regular basis. **Disclaimer:** Please note that the above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this classification.
