About the role We are looking for a new member of our team who loves all things People! As an experienced, highly impactful, and strategic HR country lead you will lead the day-to-day HR function and employee experience at our Tel Aviv office. In this role, you will be the face of the People team in Israel and a key member of the local Site Leadership. You will act as a proactive problem solver and strategic partner to our managers, ensuring seamless collaboration between local teams and global organizational departments. Navigating complex scenarios, driving employee engagement, and scaling our unique company culture. Sitting at the intersection of local site leadership and global central teams, you will bring the ideal mix of startup agility and global scaling to enable our people and business to thrive. This role also includes direct management of the HR local team What you'll do Drive People strategy for our Tel Aviv site. Own the end-to-end people partner experience for our team. Serve as the strategic anchor for local leadership, bridging global organizational goals with local business needs to deliver high-impact, actionable support. Provide end-to-end coaching to local site leaders and managers. Help them build high-performing teams, navigate complex management challenges, drive org health, and build capability at scale. Seamlessly navigate matrixed global environments, aligning global HR strategy with local Israeli culture and business needs. Build a stronger manager community — Independently design and deliver end-to-end manager development initiatives, using structured engagement models to identify gaps, build capability, and actively support the manager community at scale. Lead and develop the local HR team: Manage, mentor, and inspire the local HR team, fostering a culture of high performance, growth, and operational excellence. Partner with global teams to lead annual people moments that matter, performance management, talent reviews, compensation planning, employee engagement, and succession planning. Act as the heartbeat of the Tel Aviv site. Guide teams through changes, foster cross-functional collaboration, and ensure an extraordinary employee experience. Serve as the local expert in Israeli Labor Law and employment regulations. Handle complex Employee Relations (ER) cases and ambiguous people situations with empathy, discretion, and clear communication. Be an AI-era People Partner — Proactively identify, design, and operationalize AI-enabled tools, workflows, and programs that modernize HR delivery and keep Rubrik ahead of the curve in how people work and how HR operates. Scale through smart partnerships — Collaborate across COEs (Compensation, Talent Acquisition, T&D, DEI, People Operations) and People Services to drive process improvements, spot work that can be transitioned for scale and efficiency, and continuously raise the bar on manager enablement..( mentioned above) Experience you'll need 7-10 years of progressive HR experience in fast paced high-tech environments. Proven track record working in both agile startups and global companies. Demonstrated passion and success in driving manager enablement, leadership development, and organizational engagement. Hands-on ER and case management experience, with working knowledge of local labor law and employment regulations. Strong ability to navigate matrixed global structures, building deep, collaborative relationships, and working seamlessly across different time zones and cultural contexts. Ability to navigate ambiguity and change in a dynamic business environment and with exposure to global matrixed organisations Proven experience in directly managing and leading a local HR/people team. Excellent communication, sound business judgment, and the ability to thrive in ambiguity and fast-changing environments.
