About the Role Puck is looking for an organized, people-focused HR Coordinator to join our Human Resources team. This role owns the day-to-day mechanics of recruiting, onboarding, and employee engagement while supporting the broader HR function with administrative work. You'll be the first point of contact for many new hires and a steady presence for current employees navigating everyday HR questions - a great fit for someone who wants hand-on HR experience across the full employee lifecycle. What You'll Do Recruiting - Post open positions across job boards and internal channels. - Screen resumes and applications, and schedule interviews for hiring managers. - Coordinate candidate communication throughout the hiring process. - Conduct background checks, reference checks, and pre-employment screenings. - Extend offer letters and track candidate status through applicant tracking system. Onbaording - Prepare new hire paperwork, badges, workstations, and first-day logistics - Facilitate new hire orientation and ensure required documentation is completed accurately and on time. - Set up new employees in HRIS and payroll systems. - Check in with new hires during their first 60-90 days to support a smooth transition. Employee Engagement - Help plan and execute employee events, recognition programs, and engagement initiatives. - Support internal communications related to HR programs and company updates. - Assist in gathering and organizing employee feedback (surveys, exit interviews, etc.) Administrative Support - Maintain accurate and compliant employee records and files. - Process HR-related paperwork such as status changes, leave requests, and verifications of employment. - Support benefits enrollment administration and respond to routine employee questions. - Assist with compliance tracking (training completions, certifications, required postings). - Provide general administrative support to the HR team as needed. What We're Looking For - Highschool diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred. - HR, recruiting or administrative experience preferred. - Strong organizational skills and attention to details. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. - Comfortable working in Microsoft Office (Excel, Work, Outlook); HRIS experience is a plus - A proactive, adaptable mindset - comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
