This is a hybrid opportunity based at our downtown Toronto headquarters, with an expectation of working in the office three days per week. About the Opportunity Reporting to the Human Resources team, the Human Resources Coordinator plays an integral role in supporting the day-to-day operations of HR while helping deliver an exceptional employee experience across our Canadian and U.S. workforce. This role is ideal for someone early in their HR career who enjoys balancing administration with employee support, data analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives. You'll partner closely with leaders and employees across the organization, helping ensure our people programs are delivered accurately, efficiently, and with a people-first mindset. From onboarding new employees and administering HR programs to maintaining employee records, supporting compliance, and contributing to culture initiatives, you'll play an important role in helping Kensington continue to attract, engage, and retain exceptional talent. What You'll Do Support the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department across Canada and the United States. Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding activities, ensuring a seamless and positive employee experience. Facilitate new hire orientation and benefits administration for Canadian and U.S. employees. Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation. Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, benefits, and employment-related matters. Prepare employment contracts, job classification updates, employee changes, and termination documentation in accordance with company policies and applicable employment legislation. Assist in the planning and execution of employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, culture surveys, and other HR projects that strengthen organizational effectiveness. Administer employee recognition programs and support initiatives that enhance employee engagement and company culture. Ensure compliance with applicable employment legislation, company policies, and HR processes through accurate administration and documentation. Identify opportunities to improve HR programs, processes, and employee experiences through continuous improvement initiatives.
