**Job Summary** Responsible: for providing efficient administrative/clerical support to the Human Resources department team; for processing from RGH’s ADP HRIS/Payroll system all reports requested by executives/directors, State and Federal agencies, commercial vendors with which RGH does business, and others in a timely manner; for consistent direct-recruiting of potential candidates for RGH job openings, reducing the average number of employment vacancies; for assisting with set-up and take-down of HR-related meetings/events (e.g., New Employee Onboarding, New Employee Orientation, Career Fairs/Hiring Events). **Essential Functions** The Human Resources department employee primarily responsible for: providing administrative/clerical support to the Human Resources department team for its talent acquisition, talent management, employee relations, payroll processing and benefits administration work in HR; processing in a timely way all reports from the ADP HRIS/Payroll system as requested by RGH executives/ directors, State and Federal agencies, commercial vendors, and others; working to reduce the number of RGH employment vacancies via direct-recruiting of potential candidates for job openings; assisting with HR-related meetings/events. **Essential Job Duties** - **Provides efficient administrative/clerical support to the Human Resources department team for its talent acquisition, talent management, employee relations, payroll processing and benefits administration work at RGH.** - Interacts effectively with RGH employees and the public both in-person and via telephone/email/fax/text messaging. - Assists Human Resources staff with timely responses to workforce inquiries about payroll and employment benefit matters. - Forwards employee benefit documents received for processing or record-keeping. - Assists with scheduling of pre-employment screenings of employment applicants, contract/agency staff, locum tenens, and university/college students who will job-shadow or are beginning clinicals/preceptorships. - Makes photocopies; files paperwork, and retrieves files from storage; processes mail; stocks inventory of HR documents and supplies (e.g., file folders, name badge blanks, badge printer ribbons, employee handbooks) - Updates electronic and printed personnel information and processes paperwork; communicates related updates as necessary. - **Processes and forwards all reports as requested by RGH executives/ directors, State and Federal agencies, commercial vendors, and others from RGH’s ADP HRIS/Payroll system.** - Calendars for processing all reports for executives/directors, vendors, and others that are done by Human Resources monthly, quarterly, and annually. - Assists HR Director with timely processing of invoices/payments due (e.g., ADP, NMHSC, etc.). - **Does direct-recruiting of potential job applicants online consistently in order to reduce the number of employment vacancies at RGH averaged annually.** - Assists candidates with employment applications; communicates with candidates by phone or email or text messages regarding the status of applications. - Completes required pre-employment background screenings assigned. - Tracks and maintains records of employee license/certification and evaluation and training-related information; provides notifications to employees and supervisors about due-dates of evaluations and licenses/certifications and training. - Conducts audits of personnel records in preparation for surveys by accreditation agencies and others; works to update files and corrects records in advance of surveys as necessary. - **Assists with preparation for and set-up and take-down of on-campus or off-campus HR meetings/events such as New Employee Onboarding, New Employee Orientation, Career Fairs/Hiring Events, etc.** **Non-Essential Functions** - Performs other duties as assigned. **Roosevelt General Hospital (RGH) is committed to providing safe, quality care to patients.
