North Idaho College is seeking a **Health Professions and Nursing Advising Specialist** to guide students as they explore and prepare for entry into competitive health professions and nursing programs. In this role, you will serve as a trusted resource for students navigating prerequisites, admissions requirements, academic planning, and career pathways. You will provide individualized advising, help students develop educational plans, assess readiness for program application, and connect them with resources that support persistence and success. Working closely with Health Professions and Nursing leadership, faculty, Student Success Navigators, and Advising Services, you will help ensure students receive consistent guidance and a seamless experience from initial exploration through program admission. You will also support student recruitment and outreach efforts by leading workshops, presentations, advising sessions, and events that promote health professions and nursing pathways. Through accurate recordkeeping, progress tracking, and collaboration with campus partners, you will play a key role in helping students stay on track toward their educational goals. We are looking for someone with strong communication and presentation skills who enjoys building relationships and helping others succeed. Successful candidates will demonstrate excellent organization, attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to explain complex information in a clear and supportive manner.
