As a Health Physics / Industrial Hygiene Technician, you’ll play a hands-on role in monitoring, collecting, and analyzing environmental data related to both radioactive and non-radioactive hazards. Your work directly supports the protection of people, the environment, and mission success. **What You Will Be Doing** In this role, you’ll conduct a wide range of radiological and industrial hygiene surveys to evaluate workplace conditions, support safe job planning, and verify regulatory compliance. You’ll gather and interpret environmental data, convert radiological readings into meaningful protection units, and respond quickly when conditions fall outside safety limits. You’ll maintain and calibrate HP/IH instruments, implement program procedures, review work documents for hazard considerations, and occasionally support extended or shift work. You will also provide training and technical guidance to colleagues and site personnel to strengthen overall Health Physics and Industrial Hygiene performance. **We’d Love to Hear from Candidates With** - An associate’s degree in industrial Hygiene, Safety and Health, Biological Sciences, or Physical Sciences - Accredited HP/IH training or certification (DOE core, INPO program), or active NRRPT registration - Four or more years of hands-on Health Physics or Industrial Hygiene experience in a uranium facility (enrichment, fuel fabrication, etc.) - The ability to obtain and maintain a “Q” level security clearance *In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.* *This position will require a pre­-employment background check and a pre-employment drug test.* *Centrus Energy and all subsidiaries shall abide by the applicable legal requirements.
