To support these initiatives, HP is seeking an ambitious, financially skilled and team-oriented professional to join the Corporate Development team. This individual will support inorganic transactions across HP’s Global Business Units acting as a trusted advisor, working closely with senior leaders to establish and drive M&A strategy, priorities, and deal execution. **Job Description** The Corporate Development Associate is a key contributor to the evaluation and execution of acquisitions and divestitures. This high-impact role involves collaboration with senior leaders to drive M&A strategy and deal execution. **Responsibilities** - Build and maintain valuation and financial models. - Prepare clear, data-driven presentations for executive decision-making. Support cross-functional due diligence teams, including coordinating question list preparation, and partnering with the business unit on forecast financial modeling. - Develop and maintain strong industry and competitive knowledge. - Conduct market, industry, and competitor research to support business strategy. - Identify, screen and value M&A and investment opportunities - Actively participate in enhancing Corporate Development practices and processes. - Education and Experience Required: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Development, Transaction Services, Private Equity, or related fields, ideally within the technology sector. Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related field. **Knowledge And Skills** - Advanced financial analysis, modeling, and valuation skills; strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. - Excellent analytical judgment with the ability to tackle complex projects independently and identify root issues. - Ability to understand abstract ideas and logically address project objectives with limited direction. Able to determine the facts of the case and reveal root issues - Strong written and verbal communication skills. Able to convey important messages in a clear & compelling manner. - Fast learner able to adapt to new teams and work well under pressure. - High capacity for work; able to maintain performance over long stretches of time.
