## Location: Berkeley,California,United States BACS Housing Resource Centers coordinate county resources, offer rapid re-housing, provide emergency financial assistance, and operate 24/7 housing navigation for individuals and families experiencing or at risk of homelessness. The Program Supervisor will lead a team of eight staff including Care Coordinators, Employment Counselors, and Clinicians. The Program Supervisor is responsible for the daily program operations of direct service programs and will manage direct service, administrative, fiscal, and quality improvement functions that promote the highest element of service provision for the direct care staff and clients they work with. **This is a Tues toSat or Sun to Thurs schedule. Some shared on call** ### **Responsibilities** - Meet clients where they are to implement consumer-centered services that are needs-driven, strengths-based and culturally relevant. - Manage flow of referrals, intakes, and discharges of participants and ensures accessibility and welcoming of all people. - Be an available and engaged manager, supervise staff including hiring, training, and performance evaluations. If applicable, provide individual and group supervision to interns collecting clinical experience and hours for licensure in their chosen field. - Hold staff accountable to contract and individual performance standards. - Constantly challenge the status quo and look for opportunities for continuous quality improvement and implement systems for CQI. - Assure that services are provided in compliance with all funders, including documentation, grant management, presentations, and reports. - Communicate effectively and conscientiously utilizing strength-based language and philosophy throughout all aspects of program management and supervision. - Participate in the delivery and attendance at trainings for the purposes of agency, professional, and personal development. - Other duties as assigned. ### Competencies: - Possesses influencing/negotiating skills and excellent oral and written communication. Holds an attitude of strength-based, person-centered services. - Works well with others and behaves professionally and ethically while developing professionally. - Expresses facts and ideas verbally and in writing in a clear, concise, and organized manner. ### **Qualifications** - At least one year managing direct report staff with responsibility for hiring, performance review and improvement. - Three years of management, administrative and leadership experience in the social service field. - Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred, Associates Degree required. - Demonstrated capacity leading diverse and multi-disciplinary teams toward a common goal required. - Demonstrated intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word/Excel, ability to type 45 WPM. - Valid California driver’s license, personal vehicle, and proof of personal vehicle insurance coverage.
