HOUSING COORDINATOR

## Overview Upper Des Moines Opportunity, Inc. (UDMO) is seeking an experienced and compassionate Housing Coordinator to lead our Housing Rental Assistance Programs. This leadership position is responsible for overseeing program operations, supervising staff, ensuring compliance with funding requirements, and helping individuals and families access safe, stable, and affordable housing. ## Description **Key Responsibilities** - Lead the daily operations and compliance of Housing Rental Assistance Programs. - Supervise, mentor, and support program staff while fostering a collaborative team environment. - Oversee client services, including housing assessments, application review, and referrals to community resources. - Maintain program integrity through accurate reporting, documentation, and compliance with federal, state, and agency regulations. - Collaborate with community partners and internal programs to improve access to stable housing opportunities. ## Requirements **Qualifications** - High school diploma required; Associate's degree or higher in a related field preferred. - Previous supervisory experience preferred. - Experience working with housing programs, community resources, or low-income populations preferred. - NSPIRE and HMIS certification, or the ability to obtain certification.
