Houseperson

The Beaufort Hotel is currently seeking a dependable and hardworking Houseperson to join our Housekeeping team. This position helps support the overall cleanliness and appearance of the hotel while assisting both guests and housekeeping associates throughout the day. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, working as part of a team, and helping create a welcoming experience for every guest. ### Schedule Projected schedule includes a mix of AM and PM shifts. Flexibility with scheduling, including weekends and holidays, is required. ### Responsibilities - Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout hotel public areas, hallways, and back of house spaces - Complete routine rounds to ensure all areas are clean, stocked, and guest-ready - Assist housekeeping associates with heavy lifting, linen deliveries, trash removal, and priority requests - Respond promptly to housekeeping and guest service requests - Report any maintenance concerns, damages, safety issues, or missing/found items - Help maintain supply storage areas and housekeeping closets - Support overall housekeeping operations to ensure a positive guest experience - Provide friendly and professional service to guests by answering questions and assisting when needed ### Qualifications - Previous hotel or housekeeping experience preferred, but not required - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain organized - Ability to lift, push, pull, and move heavy items as needed - Strong teamwork and communication skills - Dependable attendance and flexibility with scheduling - Positive attitude and willingness to assist wherever needed ### Pay - $13.00 to $14.00 per hour depending on experience ### Benefits for Full-Time Associates - Medical, dental, and vision insurance - Life insurance and short/long-term disability options - 401(k) with company match - Paid time off - Hotel and dining discounts - Career growth and advancement opportunities - Supportive team environment within a luxury waterfront hotel ### Why Join the Beaufort Hotel?
