Location1033 Young St, Dallas, TX 75202, USAAbout the opportunity The Housekeeping Supervisor oversees daily housekeeping operations to ensure cleanliness, safety, and quality standards are consistently met, supervising housekeeping staff, conducting inspections, supporting training efforts, and ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable health and safety regulations.What you'll get to do* Assist the Executive Housekeeper in their absence to facilitate all aspects of daily housekeeping operations and provide feedback on staff performance to the Director of Housekeeping* Assign work to room attendants and support staff according to staffing guides and occupancy levels, distributing assignments and making necessary changes during the shift* Ensure an attractive and clean facility for guests in rooms and all public areas, including offices and supply closets* Monitor the progress of housekeeping associates each day to ensure they are adequately trained and meeting cleaning standards* Coordinate linen handling, including daily inventory and sorting, weekly and monthly inventories, clean linen distribution, soiled linen collection, storage room organization and securitySkills and Experience* High school diploma or equivalent required* Proficient computer skills, with experience with Word and Excel being a plus* Previous housekeeping and supervisory experience required* Strong guest service aptitude with a positive attitude* Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays* Ability to wear required personal protective equipment per job responsibilities* Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
