Keeps assigned areas neat and clean. **•**Performs housecleaning and special cleaning tasks (scrubbing, waxing, window cleaning, etc.), as needed or when scheduled. **•**Assists in the delivery and collection of trash from resident rooms. **•**Maintains adequate supplies for the department and reports needs for supplies/equipment to Supervisor. **•**Gives personal assistance to residents, providing verbal and physical direction as necessary. Reports special needs to nursing staff. **•**Demonstrates dependability, competence, accuracy and is observant. **•**Adheres to compliance policies regarding confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and resident and client rights. **•**Complies with regulatory agency standards and applicable policies and procedures. **•**Complies with safety and infection control protocols in all aspects of the job. **•**Demonstrates understanding of the Code of Conduct and abides by its guidelines in all aspects of the job. **•**Attends in-services and team meetings as required for role. **•**Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned. **•**Must be at least 16 years of age. **•**No previous experience required. **•**Given that a substantial majority of Landis Communities residents are English speaking, this position requires proficiency in both speaking and understanding the English language.
