Housekeeper

## Job Summary We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Housekeeper to maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming home environment. The Housekeeper will perform a variety of cleaning and household tasks to ensure the residence is consistently maintained to a high standard. This position requires flexibility to work between **20 and 40 hours per week**, depending on household needs. ## Schedule - Part-time to Full-time: **20–40 hours per week** - Flexible scheduling based on household requirements - May include occasional evenings, weekends, or special event preparation ## Key Responsibilities ### General Cleaning - Dust, vacuum, sweep, and mop floors - Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas - Wipe down surfaces, appliances, and fixtures - Empty trash and recycling bins - Maintain cleanliness of entryways and outdoor living areas as needed ### Laundry & Linen Care - Wash, dry, fold, and organize clothing and linens - Change bed linens and make beds - Iron and steam garments when required - Monitor laundry supplies and report low inventory ### Organization - Maintain organized closets, cabinets, and storage areas - Declutter and arrange household items - Assist with seasonal organization projects ### Household Support - Restock household supplies and toiletries - Report maintenance issues or needed repairs - Assist with light meal preparation if requested - Water indoor plants and perform light household errands as needed ## Qualifications - Previous housekeeping, cleaning, or household management experience preferred - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to work independently and manage time effectively - Trustworthy, dependable, and respectful of privacy - Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical cleaning tasks - Reliable transportation preferred ## Expected Performance Standards - Maintain a consistently clean and orderly home - Complete assigned tasks efficiently and thoroughly - Demonstrate professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality - Communicate proactively regarding household needs and scheduling - Follow household preferences and instructions carefully ## Compensation - Competitive hourly rate based on experience - Potential for additional hours during busy periods - Paid time off and other benefits may be offered depending on employment status ## Work Environment This position is performed in a private residence.
