This hourly, full-time position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, takes pride in their work, and can maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization. You will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure that rooms, common areas, and facilities consistently meet or exceed our quality and safety expectations. **What You'll Do** - Clean and sanitize guest rooms, offices, restrooms, and common areas according to established standards and procedures - Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors and surfaces in assigned areas - Change bed linens, make beds, and replace towels and amenities as needed - Empty trash and recycling receptacles and dispose of waste in designated areas - Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces such as door handles, light switches, and remote controls - Restock supplies including toiletries, linens, cleaning materials, and paper products - Inspect rooms and areas for cleanliness, maintenance issues, and safety hazards; report any concerns promptly - Use cleaning equipment, tools, and chemicals safely and correctly, following all guidelines and training - Follow department schedules and instructions to complete daily, weekly, and periodic cleaning tasks - Uphold all health, safety, and sanitation policies and comply with relevant regulations - Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to prioritize tasks and support special projects or events - Respond to guest or staff requests for cleaning or housekeeping support in a courteous and timely manner - Maintain proper care, storage, and organization of housekeeping carts, closets, and equipment - Participate in required training sessions and meetings to stay current with procedures and standards **Qualifications** - Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or custodial experience preferred but not always required - Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions in English - Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage time effectively - Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift or move items (often up to 25–40 pounds) throughout the shift - Comfort using basic cleaning equipment and tools such as vacuums, mops, and carts - Willingness to work a full-time hourly schedule, which may include weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as needed - Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain a consistent work schedule - Professional and respectful demeanor when interacting with guests, visitors, and coworkers - Ability to follow safety procedures, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and PPE
