As a **FULL-TIME TEMPORARY** Housekeeping you will provide nurturing support and direct care for residents with a patient-centered approach. You can contact her directly at 978-312-4373 or via email at amelo.1@covh.org.** ## Requirements **JOB PURPOSE:** ### As a member of the Environmental Services Department, the Housekeeper/Laundry aide ### · Cleans assigned areas and assists in laundry as needed. - *Follows schedule developed by supervisor.* - *The Laundry Aide performs duties such as sorting, washing, drying, finishing and distribution linens and personal clothing in a manner according to facility policy*. **CORE DUTIES AND DEPARTMENTAL EXPECTATIONS:** - Adhere to policies and procedures of Bangor Nursing and Rehabilitation. - Adhere to safety and health regulations and policies. - Assist in emergencies that occur in the residence. - Meet and exceed Bangor Nursing and Rehabilitation standards for hospitality and services. - Incorporate the mission and philosophy of Bangor Nursing and Rehabilitation into daily tasks - Demonstrate sensitive communication skills - Maintain confidentiality - Organize and complete tasks effectively. - Must be able to handle high volume of laundry. - Approaches people in a manner which creates harmony and promotes cooperation. - Expresses concerns properly without an attitude of complaining or undermining. - Takes initiative, assesses the situation, and responds appropriately. - Advises appropriate personnel of situations requiring follow-up or attention. - Exercises effective time management skills and utilizes available resources effectively. - Establishes and maintains positive interpersonal relationships that promote a willingness to work with others cooperatively and collaboratively. - Conveys information to the appropriate persons accurately, timely, effectively and in a m…
