Position Details: Per Diem (flexible schedule- no benefits) **Position Summary:** This position carries responsibility for the provision and maintenance of the cleanliness and appearance of the entire hospital. **Education, License & Cert:** High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred. **Experience:** On the job training is provided for this position, prior experience preferred. **Essential Functions:** 1. Maintain cleanliness and appearance in all areas of the hospital. 2. Use of appropriate chemicals, supplies, or equipment when needed. 3. Assists in the orientation of new employees. 4. Recognizes and reports potential problems to the supervisor or manager of the unit. 5. Responsible for transporting trash and linen. 6. Assumes responsibility for all information contained in all forms of written communication, including policies and memos. 7.
