# Part-Time Housekeeper **Independent Living Community** ### Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Housekeeper to join our team at an Independent Living Community. The ideal candidate will take pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, guests, and staff. This position requires a strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to providing exceptional service. ### Essential Responsibilities - Clean and maintain resident apartments, common areas, offices, and community spaces. - Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and sanitize assigned areas. - Clean and disinfect restrooms, kitchens, and high-touch surfaces. - Empty trash and recycling receptacles and dispose of waste properly. - Replenish cleaning supplies and restroom amenities as needed. - Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or damaged property to management. - Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines. - Assist with special cleaning projects and community events as assigned. - Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when interacting with residents and coworkers. ### Qualifications - Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required. - Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards. - Dependable, responsible, and able to work independently. - Excellent time-management and organizational skills. - Positive attitude and willingness to serve senior residents with respect and kindness. - Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently. - Reliable transportation and consistent attendance. ### Physical Requirements - Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, and pull throughout the workday. - Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds. - Ability to use cleaning equipment and supplies safely.
