Our portfolio includes a wide array of reputable brands like Marriott, Hilton, IHG and Hyatt as well as many unique, independent, boutique and lifestyle properties and restaurants. **JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** - Responsible for the daily inspection and overall upkeep and maintenance of hotel building and grounds. - Clean & care for buildings, facilities, and exterior of property to ensure they are maintained in a safe, clean and neat condition. - Perform a range of landscaping operations that may include using garden and landscaping equipment for mowing, painting, pruning, trimming, installation of plant material, care of flowers and bedding plants. - Repair damaged grounds areas. - Notify management of any repairs needed (lighting, public areas, parking lot, etc.). - Spread fertilizers, herbicides, or insecticides onto grass, shrubs, and trees. - Assist with performing minor electrical and mechanical repairs - Empty all common area waste baskets and keep receptacles clean - Attend safety meetings & other related meetings. - Respond to guest requests and questions and report guest issues and complaints in a hospitable manner to ensure guest satisfaction. - Responsible for the care, maintenance and inventory of all supplies and equipment owned by the property. - Other duties as assigned. **EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE** - No formal education required. - Previous experience in similar role/landscaping preferred. **KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES** - Ability to operate various types of power equipment including lawnmowers, trimmers, hedge trimmers, leaf blowers, and other landscaping equipment. - Ability to use hand tools required for landscaping. - Ability to follow instructions and complete assignments. - Knowledge of landscaping techniques and processes. - Excellent time management skills. **PHYSICAL DEMANDS** The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
