**Bistro Attendant** **Location: Courtyard by Marriott** **Mishawaka, IN 46545** The Bistro Attendant is responsible for delivering an exceptional food and beverage experience to guests while upholding Marriott brand standards. This role includes preparing and serving food and drinks, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and providing warm, professional service to every guest. * * * **Key Responsibilities:** - Greet guests warmly and provide prompt, friendly, and efficient service in the Bistro. - Prepare and serve food items, specialty coffee drinks, and other menu offerings according to Marriott recipes and standards. - Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately, process orders, and handle cash/credit transactions. - Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the Bistro, dining area, and all food preparation areas in accordance with health and safety guidelines. - Stock and replenish supplies, condiments, utensils, and grab-and-go items as needed. - Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth daily operations. - Assist with opening duties, including setting up equipment, brewing coffee, and preparing food. - Provide product knowledge to guests and make menu recommendations when appropriate. - Comply with Marriott service standards, uniform guidelines, and appearance policies. - Support other hotel departments when needed to enhance guest satisfaction. * * * **Qualifications:** - Prior food service, barista, or customer service experience preferred. - Ability to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. - Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs. - Knowledge of basic food preparation and safe food handling practices. - Positive attitude and ability to work in a team-oriented environment. **Benefits and Perks:** - Paid Time Off - Hotel Discount Perks - Medical, Dental and Vision Health Insurance - Employee Assistance Program (EAP) **Join One of Northern Indiana's Leading Hospitality Groups** We are a rapidly expanding hospitality group in Northern Indiana, operating Marriott, Hilton, and IHG brands.
