We’re a multiple award-winning employer with an opening for a part-time host to ensure that residents and guests have a positive experience within the restaurants. Hosts greet residents, family members, guests, and/or staff with a friendly demeanor; assist with seating and monitor food service according to dining standards to assure a pleasurable dining experience. Hosts create meaningful moments in the lives of residents, visitors, and staff be demonstrating friendly welcoming behaviors. The successful candidate will be able to handle multitasking, problem solving, and always being a friendly face. This part-time role is 15 hours per week . Shifts are mainly in the afternoons and evenings and may vary based on scheduling needs. Weekend availability is required. QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS Required: Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and to make independent decisions. Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Knowledgeable with technology. English language proficiency. Required: 1+ years of experience in a dining service environment. Certification, or ability to obtain certification, in BASSET. The hourly base wage range provided is a good faith estimate of what Mather reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of the posting. The actual hourly rate offered will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to relevant skills, certifications, years of experience, geographic location, and current market conditions.
