As a Host, you are the first and last impression of our restaurant—welcoming every guest with warmth, setting the tone for their visit, and ensuring they leave feeling valued and cared for. **What you can expect from us:** Our team members are the most important stakeholder here at Firebirds Wood Fired Grill and such an important part of our brand. We ensure that our front of house team members receive extensive training and development, are continuously set up for success, and feel welcomed in our Firebirds family! Never worked in a restaurant before but have a passion for learning more? It will be our pleasure to start you in a role where you can train and develop skillsets to become a hospitality expert! ## Responsibilities **What we expect of you:** - Welcome guests warmly as they arrive and thank them as they leave. - Open doors and create a friendly, inviting first impression. - Escort guests to their table and set expectations for their experience. - Manage reservations and waitlists using OpenTable with accuracy and care. - Communicate wait times clearly and professionally during peak volume. - Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming host stand and entryway. - Support the dining room by **clearing and resetting tables (bussing) as needed** to maintain flow and cleanliness. - Partner with the Front of House team to ensure smooth, seamless service. **What’s in it for you:** - Flexible schedules!
