Our highly skilled veterinarians and staff are dedicated to serving animals with exceptional specialty, emergency and referral care, providing compassion to the people who love them, and supporting the local veterinary community at any time of day or night. Being in Alaska we can get called upon to support the Iditarod and occasional work with Sea Life Center. PET is proudly accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association. **Schedule and Compensation:** - Consistent flexibility in scheduling is necessary for this position. The ideal candidate will be able to work across multiple shifts, including day and evening hours. - The compensation range is $130-160K annual salary. - Up to a 3 year retention bonus in the amount of $75,000! - $15,000 @ 6 months in role - $20,000 @ 12 months in role - $40,000 @ 36 months in role - Annual profit-sharing bonus plan. - Relocation package is available **Qualifications:** - **Experience:** 5–10+ years of senior leadership experience in veterinary hospital operations, healthcare, or retail, ideally in a multi-specialty or matrixed setting. - **Skills:** Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, drive strategic and operational initiatives, and foster inclusive collaboration. Brings strong business acumen with demonstrated experience successfully managing hospital financials, budgeting, and full P&L accountability. - **Ideal Background:** Proven experience building and scaling high-performing teams, driving engagement, and supporting professional development resulting in measurable improvements to hospital financials and EBITDA. - **Education:** Bachelor’s Degree ideal.
