Hospice Massage Therapist - PRN

## Description Trinity Hospice is looking to hire a PRN Massage Therapist to join our Hospice team in Richmond and the Tri Cities area! Job Summary: Reporting to our Administrator/Director of Clinical Services, the Massage Therapist will perform therapy services to our patients in their homes in accordance with physician orders and the plan of care. What You Will Do Every Day: - Perform massage therapy services in conjunction with a patient care plan. - Perform evaluations of patients. - Establishing a treatment plan in consultation with the physician and IDG. - Coach and teach team members the treatment plan. - Understand the dying process and the ability to make appropriate goals for patients at the end of life. - Record and submit, on a timely basis, all evaluation data, treatments, and patient’s response to therapy intervention. Education, Experience, and Certifications Needed: - Graduate of a Massage Therapy school approved by the Accreditation Council for Massage Therapy Education. - Be licensed or registered according to state requirements. - At least one year of institutional/home health/hospice experience, with hospice experience being heavily preferred. - Must have a valid drivers’ license and insurance in the state in which you will practice. - Strong written and verbal communication skills.
