TITLE: Home Weekly Class A CDL OTR Driver POSITION OBJECTIVE: The role of the CDL Driver is to safely deliver products and render outstanding service to our customers. QUALIFICATIONS: Legal eligibility to work in the US Ability to speak, read, and write in English Effective communication skills, both written and verbal Current Class “A” CDL Current Medical Card Must be 30 years of age. Has a minimum of 10 years of experience operating tractor/trailer equipment. Acceptable Driving Records consist of: Up to three minor violations and zero accidents in the last 36 months, Up to two minor violations and one not at-fault accident in the last 36 months. No major violations in the last 5 years. Major violations include, but are not limited to: DUI’s, reckless driving, distracted driving, cell phone usage and major speeding violations. Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary such as overtime and weekends. Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Ability to work well under pressure and deal tactfully with others. Must be willing to drive Intrastate and/or Interstate Familiar with DOT Regulation. Workdays may range between 8 to 14 hours per day Work week may not exceed 70 hours Conduct pre/post trip inspections of trucks and trailers, including the checking of tire pressures.
