Members of our CAP staff commit to our core values of faith, service, and compassion. **Summary:** Assists the Home Repair Crew Leader with crews, volunteers and participants in the work activities of home repair and the construction of new homes for low-income families/individuals **Essential Job Functions:** - Under the guidance of a CAP Crew Leader, performs basic construction activities and assists with the oversight of construction activities of the home repair workers, volunteers, and homeowners. Once fully trained, may be called upon to lead volunteers during WorkFest or YouthFest, our alternative spring break programs for college and high school students. Also, may lead volunteers during group season. 80% - Assists the Crew Leader with assessments of jobs prior to repairs and securing needed materials before and during construction. Follows all safety procedures. Responsible for personal safety and safety of other crew members. 10% - Assists the Crew Leader in the care and accountability of all equipment and tools.
