We support our clients long after installation, building lasting relationships through responsive service and systems that continue to perform year after year. **What You’ll Do** As an A/V Rack Specialist at Realm, you'll play a crucial role in our operations. Your daily responsibilities will include: - Assemble AV equipment racks per approved shop drawings, schematics, and rack elevations. - Mount AV components including DSPs, amplifiers, switchers, control processors, power distribution units, and network devices. - Fabricate and terminate audio, video, control, and network cabling to industry standards. - Perform proper cable management, labeling, lacing, and strain relief to ensure serviceability and airflow. - Power up racks safely and verify proper voltage, grounding, and sequencing. - Record, update and maintain IP address, serial and MAC address spreadsheets. - Prepare racks for shipment, including securing equipment and protecting cabling. **Qualifications** - Understanding of AV signal flow (audio, video, control, and network.) - Ability to read and interpret schematics, rack elevations, and wiring diagrams. - Eagerness to learn and adapt to new skills in the A/V field. - A professional attitude and meticulous attention to detail. **Why Join Us?** - Professional Growth: Work with industry leaders and innovative technology. - Collaborative Culture: Be part of a team that values innovation and teamwork. - Cutting-Edge Technology: Immerse yourself in working with some of the industry's most respected brands. - Career Development: Grow your skills and career in a supportive environment that fosters learning. - Team Spirit: Be part of a collaborative and passionate team dedicated to technology and service excellence. **Benefits & Perks** - **Job Type:** Full-time, Monday to Friday - **Location:** Norwalk, CT / On the Road - **Pay:** $24.00 - $30.00 per hour - **Paid Time O**ff**:** 13 PTO days (plus +1 day per year of employment) - **Paid Holidays:** 8 paid holidays - **Health & Wellness:** Health, dental, & vision insurance (50% company-paid); HSA eligibility; life insurance - **Retirement:** 401(k) with employer match - **Opportunities:** Training, certification and advancement
