Join us and be a part of something special! ## Description The Instructional Facilitator for Mathematics partners with teachers and campus and district leaders to strengthen high-quality math instruction, improve student outcomes, and foster a collaborative culture of continuous learning across the high school mathematics program. ***Days 213 (185 plus 28 additional days)*** ***Applications accepted until position(s) filled*** ***Position(s) for 2026-2027 school year*** ## Requirements **Responsibilities:** - Collaborate with the Director of Mathematics and campus and district leadership to plan, implement, evaluate, and continuously improve the high school math curriculum and instructional program - Work closely with other Instructional Facilitators and Secondary Instructional Specialists to ensure coherent and aligned learning experiences for students - Provide expertise in mathematics instruction and support teams in developing rigorous, TEKS-aligned lessons, instructional materials, and assessments aligned to district curriculum expectations - Orient new teachers concerning the curriculum in the areas or level of assignment, Board policies, and administrative regulations pertaining to their work and any matter that may assist them in becoming aware of their responsibilities as teachers in the school district - Foster trusting, collaborative coaching relationships with teachers through classroom presence, modeling lessons, co-planning, reflective conversations, and ongoing instructional support - Provide timely, actionable feedback to strengthen instructional quality and effectiveness - Engage in ongoing professional learning related to best practices in mathematics teaching and learning, coaching, and instructional leadership - Support and facilitate professional learning opportunities for teachers to strengthen math instruction across the campus and district - Analyze and disseminate assessment data, including benchmarks, CBAs, bundle assessments, etc. to inform instructional planning - Support teachers in developing targeted intervention plans, including the use of flexible grouping, to meet the needs of all learners and address gaps across student groups and accountable subsets - Plan Accelerated Instruction for students who scored Did Not Meet on the EOC and support teachers with lesson planning and instructional adjustments - Support and facilitate Math PLTs in adhering to the PLC model by assisting teams with collaborative planning, data analysis, and instructional-decision making as needed - Perform any other related duties assigned by the Department of Instruction **Qualifications:** - Minimum of five years preferred of successful teaching experience in the subject field and level of assignment - Bachelor’s Degree and a major closely related to the subject area or level of assignment - Certified to teach high school mathematics - Fingerprinting is required of all candidates per Texas Education Code - Master’s Degree or college coursework above the Bachelor’s Degree directly related to the assignment or to instructional leadership-PREFERRED **** **Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:** - **Tools/Equipment Used:** Standard…
