The company has many long-term employees. They value community, safety and quality service, while offering a relaxed and friendly team of self-motivated individuals. This role is Monday-Friday during normal business hours. There may be potential for a part-time option. Saturdays are optional and availability will be dependent upon business needs. **Responsibilities** - Diagnose, inspect, service, and perform maintenance on heavy-duty trucks. - Perform preventative maintenance, inspecting for road-worthiness and safety issues. - Work with diesel engines, hydraulic equipment, etc. - Troubleshoot and diagnose issues related to turbos, injectors, and radiators. - Research and order parts with appropriate approvals. - Perform maintenance on trailers, as needed. - Maintain a clean and organized work environment. - Report damages or faulty equipment to management. - Additional tasks as needed. **Qualifications** - A high school diploma or equivalent. - 2+ years' experience working with heavy duty vehicles is required. - A Commercial Inspection license is preferred. - Maintain excellent communication skills & be able to work independently. - Ability to work overtime if required. Compensation: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
