Bonus amounts are calculated based on billed hours, efficiency, and productivity. **Schedule** - Monday through Friday - 40 hours per week plus overtime - Day schedule (7:30 am start times, or earlier depending on demand) **Benefits** We offer a competitive benefits package, including: - **Sick Time & PTO:** 40 hours of Sick Time & 80 hours of PTO that you can accrue in your first year. - **Medical Coverage:** 3 options for you and your family, with low-cost options available. - **Vision & Dental:** Affordable plans for you and your family. - **Accident Insurance:** Fully covered by the company for peace of mind. - **Life Insurance:** $50,000 coverage at no cost, with options for additional coverage. - **Retirement:** 50% employer contribution. - **Telemedicine:** Virtual healthcare consultations for you, your friends, and your family. - **Pet Benefits:** Pet insurance and access to virtual pet care services. - **HSA/FSA:** Manage your healthcare expenses with HSA and FSA options. **Responsibilities** As a **Heavy Duty** **Diesel** **Service** **Technician**, you will be: - Servicing John Deere equipment and other merchandise offered for sale by the dealership. - Performing basic and complex diagnostics independently and solving basic and complex technical issues. - Performing pre-delivery inspection on all types of equipment and other merchandise offered for sale by the dealership. - Operating and maintaining vehicles, tools, and equipment required in the set-up and delivery process. - Following all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments. - Completing all reports and forms required in conjunction with job assignments. - Accounting for all time and materials used in performing assigned duties. - Participating in Service Education Training programs is required for the development of skills and knowledge. - Maintaining a clean work area and performing work in a neat and orderly fashion. - Other duties as assigned. **Experience, Education, Skills, and Knowledge** To be successful in this role, you should have: - 4-7 years of experience (or equivalent) performing service repairs. - Sound knowledge of engines, hydraulics, power-trans, air-conditioning, and electrical systems as they apply to machines marketed by the Dealership. - Supplied with own tools and toolbox - Ability to operate vehicles, tools, and equipment used in machinery pre-delivery and set-up processes. - Ability to assemble machinery components and to follow the manufacturer’s pre-delivery instructions. - Ability to use Service Advisor and basic computer functions. - Ability to maintain labor performance and billable hours according to Service Leaders. - Knowledge of John Deere and competitive equipment, *a plus.* **Essential Job Functions** - Lifting up to 75 pounds, on occasion - Lifting, pushing, and pulling 50 pounds repeatedly - Repetitive hand use up to 7 hours a day - Walking or standing up to 7 hour…
