You will have the unique opportunity to impact patient care across the entire health system providing interpreting and translation services. Using your expertise, you will serve as a culturally sensitive liaison between patients, their families and clinical staff. Your role is to ensure questions and concerns are answered and clarified through phone calls, remote technology or in-person sessions. ## Qualifications **Education & Experience** - High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required - Completion of 40-hour Healthcare Interpreter training certification required - 1 year of experience interpreting and/or translating in a healthcare setting preferred - Proficient in Medical Terminology in both English and target language required **Licenses and Certifications** - One of the following is preferred - CCHI - Certified Healthcare Interpreter - NBCMI - National Board Certified Medical Interpreter ## Disclaimers • Pay ranges listed are an estimate and subject to change.• If any bonuses are noted, they are only applicable to external hires meeting criteria.
