Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner. Provide basic guidance on equipment usage and club rules when needed (not personal training unless qualified) In real-time ensure that any member related concerns are addressed and action items have been set, and management team have been notified. Build relationships with members and guest. Communicate red flags and positive feedback to management and wider team. Ensure the gym floor is clean, orderly, and safe at all times — including wiping down machines, restocking towels, and managing equipment placement Support fitness instructors and personal trainers with class setups or member handovers Encourage a positive, inclusive, and respectful workout atmosphere Uphold discretion and professionalism, especially when serving VIPs and PWKs. Assist with booking appointments, classes, or providing information about fitness services and facilities What we are looking for... A successful Health Club Host for Soho House will ideally have up to 2 years’ experience in a busy high-profile venue and a natural flair for first class service. You’ll be reliable, friendly and happy to be a key part of the team that strives for success. Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in similar capacity Thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments and maintain calm, through quickly and effectively problem solving under pressure Must be hospitable, approachable, passionate about customer service and respectful towards colleagues and guests Must be able to demonstrate competency as outlined in the training schedule and Club School Must be able to work flexible shifts and schedules, including weekends and holidays as needed Ability to take direction, work in a team environment and autonomously The salary range for this role if filled within the UK is listed below.
