Head of Security Platforms Why We Have This Role Qualtrics operates in a world where security threats are evolving and being as secure as possible is paramount. The Engineering Security Manager is essential to Qualtrics' operations, tasked with protecting our products and infrastructure from increasing security risks. This person will maintain company-wide security standards, leading a skilled team of security engineers and collaborating across product units to address security challenges. The impact of their role is broad - they will help protect customer data, uphold the company's reputation, and ensure ongoing secure service delivery. How You’ll Find Success Proactive Leadership: Take the initiative, understanding the expected outcome, getting the necessary context, and working entrepreneurially to achieve the set goals in security engineering. Stellar Communication: Communicate effectively at all levels and influence appropriately to create trust within the team and across the business to induce high standards and change practices. Security Expertise: Broad expertise in platform security, demonstrating an in-depth understanding of different security facets, including product, cloud, and infrastructure security. Decision-Making and Problem Solving: Possess strong decision-making skills, able to tackle complex security issues swiftly and effectively in an autonomous date driven capacity.
