About the Head Labour Procurement role

Head Labour Procurement positions focus on delivering results in their domain. This page aggregates open Head Labour Procurement roles and what employers typically expect.

Labour is one of the largest cost areas across Rohlik Group, and external workforce services are critical to the daily performance of our fulfilment centres and warehouses. As we continue to scale across Europe, we are establishing a dedicated Group Labour Procurement function to bring stronger commercial ownership, transparency and consistency to this strategically important category. We are looking for a Head of Labour Procurement who will design and lead our Group-wide sourcing and commercial strategy for external workforce services across the Czech Republic, Germany, Austria, Hungary and Romania. This is a build role, not an inherit role. You will create the category strategy, establish the commercial governance and introduce scalable, data-driven and AI-supported procurement processes across the Group. WHY THIS ROLE IS EXCITING - You will take ownership of one of Rohlik Group’s largest and most business-critical spend categories. - You will build a new Group procurement function and shape how external workforce services are sourced and managed across five markets. - Your work will have a direct impact on operational continuity, cost efficiency and the performance of our fulfilment centres. - You will lead high-value tenders and negotiate directly with senior executives of staffing and workforce providers. - You will work at the intersection of Finance, Operations and HR, with significant visibility across Group and local leadership. - Rohlik is an AI-first company, giving you the opportunity to introduce automation, analytics and AI-supported tools across sourcing, contracting and supplier management. WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU - Own and execute the Group’s procurement strategy for external workforce services supporting our fulfilment centres and warehouses across all markets. - Run tenders and lead negotiations at executive level; contract through the Group’s standard procurement and contract management tooling. - Own the commercial architecture and cost governance of the category: benchmark provider pricing across markets and sites, drive cost transparency, and deliver measurable savings against a spend baseline you establish. - Establish supplier performance management: service levels, quality, and delivery against contract, with regular scorecard reviews with providers and internal stakeholders. - Embed AI, digital procurement tools, and analytics to create full visibility of category spend and automate sourcing and contract lifecycle processes. - Monitor provider market trends, labour regulation, and pricing across CEE and DACH to future-proof the Group’s operations. WHAT WE LOOK FOR - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Law, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. - 8–10+ years of experience in senior procurement, workforce/staffing, or category management roles — ideally with deep exposure to agency labour, temporary staffing, or outsourced services, from either the buying or the provider side. - Proven track record running large tenders and negotiating labour or service contracts at executive level. - Working knowledge of temporary agency work legislation and labour cost mechanics; comfort operating across CEE/DACH regulatory environments. - Strong commercial and analytical acumen — you think in unit cost, service levels, and total cost, not just contract value. - Strong command of AI and digital tools in procurement, including automation, analytics, and contract management systems. - Strategic mindset combined with a hands-on approach — you are comfortable building the function and its processes from the ground up. - Excellent stakeholder management: you will operate between Operations, HR, Finance, and provider executives, often with conflicting interests. - English language is reuired (C1+), Czech/Slovak will be an advantage. WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU - Fair reward - You’ll get a strong fixed salary — no bonus games, no politics. Great work is rewarded clearly and fairly. - Good food every day - You’ll…
