Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a General Maintenance Associate! **Pay starting at $20 an hour and can vary depending on experience!** **Schedule: Monday – Friday** **training would 7am-3:30pm after training 12pm-10pm– OT as needed – possible weekends** **Responsibilities:** - Operate power tools, including griding, cutting, sanding, drilling, etc. - Operate powered industrial equipment in accordance with OSHA guidelines and company safety operating procedures. - Observe vital safety precautions for shipping and receiving of rental equipment, purchase equipment, parts, and accessories. - Properly package equipment to transport safely to customer sites. - Involvement in equipment repair and rebuilding including electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical aspects of the Fusion equipment. - Maintain Fusion equipment with frequent fluid changes, filter changes, and replacement of wear and tear parts. - Follow proper check in and check out producers for rental equipment and accessories. - Troubleshoot fleet for needed repairs and maintenance. - Follow housekeeping policies. - Follow all company mandated safety policies - Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs **Qualifications:** - Relevant automotive repair, equipment repair highly preferred - Familiarity with McElroy Fusion equipment is a plus. - Experience in operating, troubleshooting, and repairing of hydraulic equipment. - Experience in operating, troubleshooting, and repairing of electrical or mehanical components. - Ability to lift up to 50lbs. - Experience and ability to work with power industrial tools. - Experience in operation of powered industrial equipment / trucks / forklifts. - Ability to work in a shop or field environment. - Remain results-focused in a fast-paced challenging customer service environment At Ferguson, we care for each other.
