Harm Reduction Coordinator - Residential Services

As a recognized leader in developing and operating supportive housing and community-based programs, The Bridge has 70 years of experience helping New Yorkers with mental illness, including those affected by homelessness, incarceration, and institutionalization. **Scope of Position:** The Harm Reduction Coordinator evaluates and addresses substance use-related needs to support residents in thriving within supportive housing. **Essential Position Functions:** - Provide intensive in-home harm reduction services and/or referral linkages for a small caseload of residents in Bridge housing throughout the Bronx, Manhattan, and Brooklyn. - Collaborate with internal departments and external providers to coordinate care. - Provide harm reduction guidance and training to supportive housing staff. - Promote clients' physical and mental health, safety, well-being, and recovery. - Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent (GED). - Experience working within a harm reduction model or with high-risk populations. - Computer literacy required, including the ability to use the agency's electronic health record (EHR) system to document services. - Bilingual (Spanish) preferred. **The Bridge Inc. is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer**
