Hardware Store Specialist

This role requires a blend of physical stamina, technical equipment operation, and product expertise to ensure our store stays stocked, organized, and ready to serve our customers. **Responsibilities** · **Inventory & Stocking:** Stock the hardware store, ensuring all merchandise is properly ordered, filled, and placed. · **Pricing & Accuracy:** Maintain correct inventory counts and ensure all products have the proper tags and pricing. · **Equipment Operation:** Safely operate both stand-up and sit-down forklifts to move materials. · **Customer Service:** Assist all customers in the store with their needs and product questions. · **Transactions:** Ring out customers on the POS terminal and manage cash register duties. **Qualifications** · **Physical Requirements:** Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. · **Technical Skills:** Certified or experienced in operating stand-up and sit-down forklifts. · **Experience:** Proven background in customer service and cash register/POS operation. · **Knowledge:** Strong understanding of hardware products and their specific uses.
