Hardware/Digital Engineer III - Kwajalein Atoll - 3867

RGNext employees execute and report on theater and strategic offensive and defensive ballistic missile testing and support space situational awareness operations and experiments, using a wide array of highly sophisticated radar, telemetry and optical sensors to meet the needs **of our nation** in defending the United States and its interests. **This overseas position is located on Kwajalein Atoll in the Marshall Islands.** **What You Will Do:** - Provide operations & maintenance support for C‑band and Ka‑band radar hardware systems. - Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial and custom hardware. - Perform routine preventive maintenance procedures and run system diagnostic software. - Lead and support design and implementation of improvement and modernization (I&M) projects, including maintaining project schedules and budgets. - Install new equipment. - Coordinate and maintain spares lists. - Provide technical input regarding system configuration and performance. - Perform other duties as assigned. **Qualifications You Must Have** **:** - Bachelor of Science in Engineering, or a degree in a related STEM discipline. - Two (2) or more years of related experience. - Direct experience with field installation and testing, calibration, troubleshooting, and acceptance testing. - Ability to read schematic diagrams, wiring lists, and assembly prints. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to work independently; self‑starter. - Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills. - Strong organizational and time‑management skills to balance, plan, prioritize, and execute projects. - Ability to work in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment with time constraints. - Ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 45 lbs. independently. - Ability to work at heights up to 50 feet. - The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required.
