## Overview The Disabilities Board of Charleston is seeking an individual who enjoys working outdoors and is passionate about making a difference in the lives of others. This role involves supervising and training individuals with developmental and related disabilities in a group employment setting, specifically focused on lawn maintenance services. The ideal candidate will support participants in building vocational and interpersonal skills while promoting independence, inclusion, and meaningful community engagement. ## Description Assist individuals to integrate self-determination and self-advocacy skills with training and supports to develop pre-employment and vocational skills, to enhance personal skills, and interact with their community while maximizing the individual’s choices and independence, and maintaining the individual’s health and safety. ## Requirements Provides supervision and training in a group employment setting, supporting individuals with developmental and related disabilities in performing lawn maintenance services. Facilitates skill development and encourages personal growth by promoting independence, fostering community integration, and enhancing interpersonal and vocational abilities. Ensures that all support is delivered in a manner that maximizes choice, dignity, and individual empowerment.
