Guide - Demonstrator 1 - Islands of Fiji

## Description Provides interesting and exciting cultural demonstrations and lectures to all guests. **Essential Functions:** - Provides cultural information through demonstrations and lectures, and teaches songs, dances, crafts, games and cultural phrases to guests. - Creates, maintains and/or does repairs of moderate difficulty on cultural artifacts, buildings, and props using a variety of equipment and materials. - Provides general maintenance, custodial and grounds keeping of work area. ## Requirements - In good health, able to stand long hours, having a full range of body movement and have a voice that can endure up to four hours of speaking in any given time frame. - Able to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds on a daily basis. - Able to speak, read and write in English. **Preferred Qualifications:** - A high school graduate with one year of work experience in dealing with the general public. **Work Schedule:** To Be Determined (19 Hours per week) **All applicants must be available for an on-site interview at the Polynesian Cultural Center in Laie, HI.** Please note that the Polynesian Cultural Center will not provide relocation or travel expense reimbursements related to this application or hiring process.
