Relay is a digital banking platform that gives self-made business owners the tools and know-how to be great with money—bringing clarity, confidence, and control to every dollar earned, so they can turn hard work into lasting success. We do this by replacing financial guesswork with real visibility, transforming cash flow from a constant source of stress into a clear signal owners can use to run stronger, more resilient businesses. You'll join the Performance Marketing team, which acquires new Relay customers through paid social, paid search, connected TV, and direct mail — the team's north star is newly acquired customers. Your job is the operational engine behind those channels — if a campaign launches cleanly or the budget tracker is current, that was probably you. This is a hands-on role — you'll work with live campaigns and real budgets from week one. Please Note: The start date for this role will be September 14th, 2026 and the end date will be April 30th, 2027. What You'll Be Doing - Upload and launch new creative across paid social and paid search, and pause bottom-performing ads as the team reviews - Own the do-not-mail list and audience suppression uploads for our direct mail program, and help draft creative briefs for new mailings - Run weekly spend ingestions across connected TV, paid social, events, sponsorships, and direct mail, and keep the budget tracker current - Work with our Design team to procure new creative and shepherd it through compliance review - Support new campaign launches by setting up tracking, briefing and building landing pages, and coordinating with agency partners - Pull weekly performance reports and share-of-search data, and help spot what's working and what to cut - Support keyword and search-term optimization, ad copy refreshes, and QA of conversion events through Segment and HubSpot Who You Are - You learn intensely fast — you break down completely new concepts from first principles and apply them to any problem - You communicate rigorously — you can make an argument bulletproof and answer hard questions about performance - You're creative and curious — variety, new problems, and learning give you energy - You're comfortable in spreadsheets — you can build and maintain a tracker without hand-holding - You're detail-obsessed — this is work that rewards people who don't fumble the small stuff The Interview Process - Stage 1: A 30-minute Google Meet video call with the Hiring Manager - Stage 2: A 45-minute Case Study Presentation with the hiring team Our Compensation Approach We believe Relayers should feel rewarded for the impact they have on our mission and growth. Compensation follows impact. As impact increases, compensation grows, and we do not limit compensation changes to a once-a-year review cycle. The compensation for this role is between $25/hr to $30/hr CAD. We encourage you to have a conversation with your recruiter and ask questions about compensation throughout the hiring process. Why Relay Might Be the Perfect Fit For You - You push relentlessly for reinvention: You're always asking "how can this be better?" -- in your work, in your craft, in yourself. Comfort is a signal to push harder, not coast. You'd rather build something better than defend something familiar. - You crave autonomy: We trust our team with big challenges and the freedom to solve them.
