## Intro / Job Brief A Digital Marketing Specialist/Graphic Designer will specialize in graphic design with some general experience and capability in web maintenance and video editing. They will be responsible for creating, improving, delivering, and maintaining content to achieve our business goals. In conjunction with other Marketing Team members, they will work toward raising brand awareness, supplement lead generation campaigns, and monitor web traffic and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement. Our ideal candidate is a budding professional with demonstrable design, creative writing, project management, and interpersonal skills. The Digital Marketing Specialist/Graphic Designer should perform well under deadlines and be detail-oriented. Ultimately, they should be able to oversee design initiatives to ensure audience engagement and brand consistency. ## Responsibilities 1. Accountable for design components of marketing initiatives to drive traffic, engagement, and leads that deliver sales and customer retention. 2. Adherence to editorial governance so content is consistent with our brand voice, style, and tone. 3. Under the guidance of the Marketing Manager, ensure that activities are prioritized and the Kanban board is current. 4. Design and/or copy writing to produce brand specific content to improve the quality of our client/prospect facing tools and collateral. 5. Organize, strategize, re-purpose, and continuously improve our content and collateral. 6. Via design efforts, ensure that the recipient feels that "those people are smart" and "those people have their act together." 7. Propose new content and collateral. 8. Perform general maintenance of the website; specifically, add and remove content. 9. Perform general video editing for repurposing in social media and other outlets. ## Qualifications 1. Degree or Certification in Design or other related field preferred but not required. 2. 3 years experience in design, marketing, communications, or content marketing. 3. Editorial mindset that seeks to understand what audiences consume and how to create it. 4. Published content (please provide a portfolio link or work samples). 5. 3 years experience in creating or updating content for magazine / trade publication appropriate pieces. 6. 1 year project management experience to demonstrate an understanding of how to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders in a complex environment with a variety of deliverables and deadlines.
