The position supports the full federal grants lifecycle, including pre-award, award, post-award, financial monitoring, compliance, reporting, records management, and closeout activities. Additional Qualifications: Certifications & Licenses Bachelor’s degree required Master’s degree preferred Minimum of five (5) years of federal grants management or grants administration experience required NIH grants management experience preferred Three (3) or more years of finance, accounting, or grants financial management experience preferred Field of Study Business Administration Finance Accounting Public Administration Research Administration Related field Software Microsoft Office products eRA Commons IMPAC II Federal grants management and tracking systems Skills Strong knowledge of federal grants administration and the grants lifecycle Experience with pre-award, award, post-award, and closeout activities Proficiency with SF-424 applications, budget forms, modular budgets, and indirect cost calculations Experience reviewing grant budgets and performing mathematical and consistency checks Knowledge of NIH grants policies and federal grants requirements Familiarity with human subjects, vertebrate animal, IRB, IACUC, audit, and institutional compliance requirements Strong financial analysis and grants monitoring skills Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills Strong attention to detail and ability to identify administrative or compliance issues Strong written and oral communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet established deadlines Ability to prepare professional reports, summaries, correspondence, and tracking documents Deliverables: Work products and documents related to Funding Opportunity Announcement templates, administrative sections, publication tracking, and workflow coordination - Ad-Hoc Application Intake Reports documenting administrative completeness of grant applications - Ad-Hoc Budget Verification Worksheets and Cost Summaries related to grant application financial reviews - Ad-Hoc Compliance Checklists documenting required assurances, registrations, approvals, and supporting documentation - Ad-Hoc Applicant Risk Briefs summarizing institutional award history, audit information, and other due diligence documentation - Ad-Hoc Just-In-Time Status Logs and summary memoranda - Ad-Hoc Draft correspondence, internal routing memoranda, and grants management communications - Ad-Hoc Draft Notice of Award packages and related supporting documentation - Ad-Hoc Funding Summary and Obligation Worksheets - Ad-Hoc Award Setup Checklists and administrative award files - Ad-Hoc Financial Monitoring Reports and summ…
