This is a hands-on construction and installation role offering steady work, a team-oriented environment, and opportunities for growth in the skilled trades industry. * * * ### **Key Responsibilities** - Install **granite, quartz, and stone countertops** according to work orders and specifications - Inspect, measure, and prepare installation areas, including cleaning and leveling surfaces - Verify layout, seam placement, and fit with **sales associates and project managers** - Safely transport, handle, and install stone materials at job sites - Maintain a **clean, organized, and safe job site** at all times - Use industry tools and equipment to cut, fit, and secure countertops - Communicate installation progress, issues, or adjustments to internal teams * * * ### **Requirements & Qualifications** - Previous experience in **countertop installation, cabinetry, carpentry, or construction** preferred - Ability to read and follow **work orders, measurements, and installation plans** - Strong **problem-solving skills** and attention to detail - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites - Flexible schedule, including **weekends and holidays as needed** * * * ### **Physical Requirements** - Ability to perform heavy physical work including **lifting, carrying, and maneuvering stone materials with team assistance and equipment** - Standing, walking, bending, and driving for extended periods (up to 6 hours) - Ability to work in various **construction and job site environments** * * * ### **Tools & Equipment** - Operate **hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment** used in countertop installation - Use company vehicle for transportation between job sites - Perform basic calculations using a calculator or measuring tools * * * ### **Training & Development** - Learn and apply **product knowledge and installation techniques** - Identify opportunities for skill development and continuous improvement - Assist team members in training and knowledge sharing ### **Why Join Us?** At National Design Mart, we value skilled trades professionals who are committed to craftsmanship and teamwork.
