The report contains information on security policies as well as crime and fire statistics for the University. ## Description **Position Overview:** Graduate content specialists are trained to work with students and tutors both one-on-one and in small groups. Graduate content specialists interact purposefully with members of the Pace student body in order to develop successful independent learners. Graduate content specialists interact with tutors to provide content training, develop support materials, and review visit notes. This position will specialize in Biology and Chemistry fields. **The Peer Content Tutor will:** · Conduct one-on-one or small group scheduled and walk-in sessions with Pace students. · Conduct weekly trainings, assessments, and meetings with student tutors. · Undergo observations by Learning Commons staff and conduct observations of student tutors. · Facilitate exam reviews, classroom visits, instructional workshops, and Learning Commons events. · Develop educational resources for students and faculty. · Research and compile materials to support tutoring staff and instructional initiatives. · Utilize the Learning Commons SharePoint site to access and maintain relevant resources and information. · Assist in the development and revision of content support materials · Report updates and concerns to full-time Learning Commons staff. · Accurately record information into TracCloud for all tutoring and training sessions. · Work with full-time Learning Commons staff to review tutor notes. · Maintain an exceptional level of professionalism with students, staff, and faculty · Assist in operational and administrative functions of the center as needed. · Complete special projects and other assigned duties that support the mission and operations of the Learning Commons. ## Requirements • GPA of 3.4 or higher within the completion of the undergraduate degree (3.5 preferred). • Undergraduate degree within a STEM field • Advanced computer skills related to the relevant subject matter to be tutored • Ability to communica…
