Our team values curiosity, accountability, and doing great work that makes clients feel unstoppable. ### **Why This Role Matters** As our Google Ads Strategist, you’ll own the strategy and performance of paid search campaigns that directly impact client growth. You’ll translate business goals into high-performing Google Ads programs, continuously optimize for ROI, and clearly communicate what’s working (and why) to clients and internal teams. ### **What You’ll Do** - Develop and execute Google Ads strategies aligned to client short- and long-term business objectives. - Build, launch, and manage Google Ads campaigns across Search, Performance Max, Display, YouTube, and remarketing (as applicable). - Conduct in-depth keyword research, audience targeting, and competitive analysis to uncover scalable growth opportunities. - Write compelling, conversion-driven ad copy and partner with designers to produce effective supporting creative when needed. - Optimize campaigns daily through bid strategy adjustments, budget allocation, targeting refinements, and ad/landing page testing. - Run structured A/B tests to improve CTR, conversion rate, CPA, ROAS, and Quality Scores. - Track performance using Google Ads, Google Analytics, and other reporting tools; surface insights and recommendations. - Provide clear campaign updates and reporting on a cadence aligned to client expectations (daily notes + weekly/monthly reporting). - Collaborate closely with Account Managers and cross-functional teams to ensure client success and satisfaction. - Stay current on platform updates and industry trends, proactively applying best practices. ### **What Success Looks Like** **In your first 90 days, you’ll:** - Take ownership of assigned accounts and campaign roadmaps. - Identify and implement immediate optimization wins. - Establish reliable reporting rhythms and client-ready insights. - Improve performance against core KPIs (CTR, CVR, CPA, ROAS, Quality Score). ### **Qualifications (Must-Haves)** - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience). - 2+ years hands-on experience managing Google Ads accounts with measurable performance results. - Active Google Ads Certification (required). - Active Google Analytics Certification (required). - Strong knowledge of keyword strategy, targeting, conversion tracking, and attribution. - Proven ability to analyze click-through rate, conversion, spend, and creative performance for optimization. - Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex ad dynamics. - Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. ### **Nice-to-Haves** - Experience with ecommerce, lead gen, or multi-location service businesses. - Familiarity with landing page testing and CRO concepts. - Experience collaborating directly with clients or account teams. ### **Key Performance Indicators** - Increased click-through rate (CTR) - Improved conversion rate (CVR) - Lower cost per acquisition (CPA) - Increased return on ad spend (ROAS) - Higher Quality Scores - Increased paid search traffic aligned to campaign goals - Consistent achievement of client-specific objectives (leads, sales, pipeline, etc.)
