**Global HR and Payroll Manager Position Summary** The Global HR and Payroll Manager is directly responsible for the overall administration, coordination and evaluation of the human resources and payroll function. **Essential Functions** - Provides day-to-day direction in all aspects of Global human resources operations. - Assumes corporate responsibility for development of company guidelines, policies and procedures. - Participates in developing department goals, objectives and systems. - Evaluates reports, decisions and results of department initiatives in relation to established goals. - Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to affect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed. - Ensure compliance with all global local employment laws. - Establishes and maintains department records and reports; prepares reports as needed to support corporate needs. - Coaches and advises leaders on performance counselling and discipline procedures; consults on corrective actions, terminations or other employment actions. - Ensure compensation and benefits policies are understood; provides input and assists in the establishment of these programs and ensure compliance with legal requirements. - Manage all aspects of global payroll administration. - Ensures alignment of HR and corporate objectives. - Perform other duties as assigned. **POSITION QUALIFICATION** 5-10 years of Human Resources and Payroll Management experience across all areas of HR including recruiting, benefits, compensation, compliance, payroll, performance management, employment law, training and development and employee relations. Above average attention to detail, teamwork and initiative. Ability to interact with other departments within the company and be proficient in e-mail and verbal communication. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Power Point and Word and quickly able to learn new software.
